Autumn War

"I didn't actually play it."

submission: Autumn War
date: November 16, 2006

I think it's poor for any game to not have a sound on/off button, but since it's your first game I might have been able to forgive you. But.

You have a loud music loop with no mute button playing on the preloader of a 4mb file. Seriously, that's such a bad idea. I'm not going to have been the only person who closed it before it loaded.

"a sad example of of all surface, no substance"

Nice graphic will get you onto the front page of many a games site, but you have no idea about actual games design and how to make a good, playable game.

Turret Defense

"A nice game"

submission: Turret Defense
date: March 30, 2006

I really enjoyed tower defence games in WC3, and this was cool. But considering how long it takes to get past a level and how easy it is to mess up and lose it would have been a really good idea to give people passwords to skip levels or at the least let us continue from the start of the level after we die.

"I didn't even bother playing the game."

If you have to put loud, obnoxious music in the preloader for a 3 mb download, stick in a sound on/off button.
It's not difficult.

Ball OF Madness

"A good conversion... but"

submission: Ball OF Madness

A good conversion... but your depth sorting is buggy - when the ball falls it sometimes remains on top of the platforms.

Also you really, really need to stick in a sound on/off button.

Dragon Wizard

"Such a shame"

submission: Dragon Wizard
date: January 20, 2006

You've spent so much effort on the graphics and look, but the gameplay is pretty woeful. I gave up halfway through the second level. No variation, no indication of progress, no danger.

And if it doesn't start to get good til a few levels in, remove the earlier levels. Your comments show you obviously agree that they're boring.

Cubefield

"Music wood have really improved it."

submission: Cubefield
date: January 11, 2006

It's a really nice game. Fast paced and responsive. I've gotta say that some music would have really improved it. I didn't have any mp3 on the PC I played it on, so I played it in silence and it felt incomplete. For people who don't want music you have the sound off button.

I would regard not having a sound-off button a crime (of which I have been guilty on occasions) but of the two having no sound at all is the greater defect.

"Stripped" - VHS

"Probably better than the real video, but"

submission: "Stripped" - VHS
date: June 15, 2004

When I saw the girl from azumanga (Osaka?) I thought there was going to be some twisted shit here, what with the song title, but I was disappointed. Just some well drawn anime traces. The clarence and betsy short, on the other hand was hilarious. Klacid, I salute you.
